Ye tho I walk through the Valley Of the shadow of death.. Thou art with me.

There are days when thankfulness doesn't come naturally or easily. These are Valley days- in the hospital room, at the graveside, or when we are distraught about a relationship or work issue. It is in these times that the Father wants us to give Him our burdens through prayer. It seems impossible to be thankful for the pain, the confusion, or the longings in our lives. We can be thankful, though, that we have a loving, heavenly Father who stands ready to help. The peace of God cannot be explained. It cannot be bought. The world cannot give it to us. But when we release our cares to the Lord in prayer, His peace washes over us, and fills our hearts and minds. What a comfort is the peace of God when we find ourselves in the valley.
