God hears you, and will answer you. Trust Him.

David, the boy shepherd who became a king, wasn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination. But he was one of the most loyal and obedient God followers there ever was. Why? Because he trusted God to always be there, listen, guide, and bless. And he knew where to go when he needed wisdom, direction and love: God. And once there, David knew what to get: details. King Saul had been chasing David around for years, and now David learned that Saul was dead. The first thing David did was sing a song of lament. The second thing was to ask God what he should do, where he should go. Although we are not told how long it took for David to get an answer, we are told that God did answer-and David obeyed. Today, consider asking God a specific question or two. When you receive an answer, offer up a follow-up question. Record where God takes you in this short, sweet, and specific encounter with Him.
